Lausanne, July 7, 2023 - EHL Hospitality Business School will undergo a comprehensive review in Fall 2023 to renew its institutional accreditation by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE), the oldest of the regional accrediting commissions in the United States. This process will include an onsite peer review visit on November 5-8, 2023 on the EHL campus in Lausanne, as well as a visit to the EHL campus in Singapore. The school has been accredited by NECHE since 2003. The reaccreditation process takes place every 10 years with a mid-term report submission. The school was unconditionally reaccredited for 10 years in 2013.

Seven reviewers, experts in a range of higher education disciplines and based in universities and colleges in New England and New York, will carry out the evaluation of the school against the NECHE Standards of Accreditation. Members of the public are invited to send comments or feedback. For more information, please click here. Voluntary accreditations such as NECHE accreditation provide EHL Hospitality Business School an opportunity to engage in continuous improvement and ensure it maintains the highest standards of educational effectiveness.

NECHE is a non-profit, non-governmental membership organization. It relies on its members’ self-regulation, voluntary compliance with the Standards for Accreditation and a system of ongoing evaluation by peers. The Commission’s goal is to promote institutional improvement and public assurance of quality. The Commission accredits a wide variety of institutions with different missions. Each institution is evaluated according to the Standards in light of its unique mission. In applying the Standards, the Commission assesses the effectiveness of the institution as a whole.
