For the second time in Switzerland, World Tourism Forum in Lucerne (WTFL) screened start-ups in search of the most innovative business models among Swiss start-ups operating in the travel, tourism and hospitality industry during the Swiss Start-Up Innovation Camp 2019.
We are proud to share that two start-ups from the EHL Business Incubator are winners at this year’s camp:
The world’s first software platform for leisure organizers using data analytics and AI-powered dynamic pricing to improve sales and market reach won the “Destination” category.
A digital solution for professional kitchens, which ensures that every kitchen staff member, regardless of experience, can contribute to best culinary experiences - took first place in the “Hospitality” category.
WTFL Swiss Start-Up Innovation Camp is a one-day event of start-up pitches, coaching sessions, keynote speeches and workshops for entrepreneurs. Smeetz and smartTONi were among about 60 start-up companies that participated in the competition, both receiving 5,000 francs in prize money and a two-year coaching program.
